Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the Federation of Saudi Chambers No letter. (44102414) and the date (17/6/1444 AH), concerning the letter of the General Authority for Transport No. (5638/44/1) and the date (11/6/1444 AH), Concerning the role of the Public Authority for Supervisory and Supervisory Transport over public transport activities, and a reference to the regulation regulating the activity of specialized transport, leasing and routing buses issued by the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics No. (1/41/118) and the date (7/5/1441 AH), and its amendments, And regarding the regulation regulating the educational transport activity issued by the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics No. (1/41/119) dated (7/5/1441 AH) and its amendments, and in the interest of the Authority to raise the rates of compliance with these activities and improve the quality of service provided to the beneficiaries. From the date (1/2/2023 AD), violations of specialized transportation activities and educational transportation will be monitored through the (automated monitoring) system in all regions and cities of the Kingdom, according to the following:
Specialized transport activity violations:
Operate a bus without an operating card.
Operating a bus with an expired card.
Using a bus in activity for a period exceeding its intended working life.
Violations of the educational transfer activity:
The licensee operates a vehicle without obtaining an operating card.
The licensee operates a vehicle with an expired driver's card.
Using a vehicle in the movement for a period exceeding the approved operational life.
Accordingly, the federation hopes that those concerned and interested should correct their situation according to the authority’s request, and ensure that no bus runs on the roads without a valid operating card.
